Pocket Motion Fitness Privacy Policy
Pocket Motion Fitness is a camera-free, phone-in-pocket workout companion. Workout history is stored locally by default. The app may use Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics for ads, product analytics, and crash diagnostics as described below. Except for those advertising, analytics, diagnostics, and Advertising ID services, workout information is not stored on a developer-operated server.

Data We Process
- Workout and motion data: motion signals, exercise state, repetition count, confidence, workout history, corrections, and settings may be processed on device to provide workout feedback.
- App activity and analytics: limited app usage events, screen flow, workout start/completion, feature use, and diagnostic events may be processed with Firebase Analytics to improve app quality and reliability.
- Crash and performance data: crash logs, device model, operating system version, app version, and install-scoped diagnostic identifiers may be processed with Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix stability issues.
- Advertising data: Google AdMob may process device information, ad interaction data, approximate identifiers, and the Android Advertising ID where available to display and measure ads.
On-Device Workout Processing
Workout motion signals are primarily processed on the device to estimate exercise state, confidence, and repetition progress. Pocket Motion Fitness does not require a camera and does not record video for workout counting.
Workout history is stored locally by default. Developer-operated remote workout record upload is disabled by default. Exercise names, repetition counts, corrections, confidence values, and workout sessions are not stored on a developer-operated server unless a separate explicit opt-in is provided in the app.
Accounts and Login
The app does not require account creation or login.
Health, Fitness, and Permissions
The app may request motion/activity, microphone, speech recognition, notification, or vibration related permissions when needed for workout feedback, voice coaching, speech-based rep entry, reminders, or haptic guidance. Permission use is limited to app functionality.
Pocket Motion Fitness is a fitness companion, not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation advice, or emergency services.
Third-Party Services
The app may use the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: used to display ads and measure ad performance. AdMob may use the Android Advertising ID and related device/ad interaction data according to Google policies.
- Firebase Analytics: used for aggregated product analytics and feature quality measurement.
- Firebase Crashlytics: used for crash reporting and stability diagnostics.
- Firebase/Google services: may process app instance identifiers, diagnostic identifiers, device information, and event data required for the services above.
Advertising ID
On Android, the app declares and may use the Google Advertising ID permission for AdMob ads. You can reset or delete your device advertising ID through Android system settings where supported.
Data Retention / 데이터 보관 기간
- Local workout history and settings: retained on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
- App-owned local install identifier: retained on your device until local data deletion, app data clearing, or uninstall. It may be regenerated on a later launch.
- AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics data: retained by Google/Firebase according to their service settings, retention controls, and legal requirements.
- Developer-operated remote workout records: disabled by default. If a future explicit opt-in is offered and enabled, records will be retained only for the stated feature purpose until opt-out, deletion request, or account/app data deletion where applicable.
- No default server storage for workout information: apart from AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Advertising ID processing described above, workout information is stored on the device by default and is not uploaded to a developer-operated workout database.
Data Deletion / 데이터 삭제 방법
- In the app, open Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete data to delete local workout history and correction records from the device.
- You can also uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings to remove local app data from the device.
- For additional deletion requests, email pakss328@gmail.com. We will review and process requests within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days where legally and technically possible.
- Advertising and diagnostic provider data may also be affected by resetting your device Advertising ID or by using Google/Firebase privacy controls where available.
Security
The app is designed to minimize remote workout data collection and to keep workout history local by default. Third-party data transfers use the security controls provided by Google, Firebase, and the operating system.
Children
Pocket Motion Fitness is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy when the app changes or when legal, store, or platform requirements change. The latest version will be available at this URL.
